ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ।
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਵਾਨ ਸੰਤੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਕਰੋ।
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਮੋਖਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਕੇਵਲ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਮਲ ਕਮਾ। ਪਾਰ ਉਤਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੇਵਲ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੀ ਇਕੋ ਇਕ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਰੁਝੇਵਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣੇ।
ਅਸਲ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਕਾਮਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖਮੱਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਅਰ ਨਾਂ ਪਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਵੁਕਤ (ਹਸਤੀ) ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਖੀਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ।
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੰਤ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕੰਵਲ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਪਕੜ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਮੈਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰਸ ਆਸਰੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ।
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਓਹੀ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਓਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬੇਤਾ, ਵੀਚਾਰਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਪੱਸਵੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਸਾਈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਧਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
धनासरी महला ५ घरु ६ ॥
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
सुनहु संत पिआरे बिनउ हमारे जीउ ॥
हरि बिनु मुकति न काहू जीउ ॥ रहाउ ॥
मन निरमल करम करि तारन तरन हरि अवरि जंजाल तेरै काहू न काम जीउ ॥
जीवन देवा पारब्रहम सेवा इहु उपदेसु मो कउ गुरि दीना जीउ ॥१॥
तिसु सिउ न लाईऐ हीतु जा को किछु नाही बीतु अंत की बार ओहु संगि न चालै ॥
मनि तनि तू आराध हरि के प्रीतम साध जा कै संगि तेरे बंधन छूटै ॥२॥
गहु पारब्रहम सरन हिरदै कमल चरन अवर आस कछु पटलु न कीजै ॥
सोई भगतु गिआनी धिआनी तपा सोई नानक जा कउ किरपा कीजै ॥३॥१॥२९॥
Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl, Sixth House:
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
Listen, O Dear Beloved Saints, to my prayer.
Without the Lord, no one is liberated. ||Pause||
O mind, do only deeds of purity; the Lord is the only boat to carry you across. Other entanglements shall be of no use to you.
True living is serving the Divine, Supreme Lord God; the Guru has imparted this teaching to me. ||1||
Do not fall in love with trivial things; in the end, they shall not go along with you.
Worship and adore the Lord with your mind and body, O Beloved Saint of the Lord; in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall be released from bondage. ||2||
In your heart, hold fast to the Sanctuary of the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord God; do not place your hopes in any other support.
He alone is a devotee, spiritually wise, a meditator, and a penitent, O Nanak, who is blessed by the Lord's Mercy. ||3||1||29||
