These terms govern your use of the Gurudwara Gobind Dham website and its Seva booking, donation, volunteering and contact features. By using this website, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

1. About this website

This website is run by Gurudwara Gobind Dham, Thaltej, Ahmedabad, a place of worship managed by a voluntary Sevadar committee, to share Hukamnama, Kirtan, event information and to let the Sangat request Seva, give Daswandh, and volunteer.

2. Seva bookings

Submitting a Seva booking request through this website is a request, not an automatic confirmation — a sevadar will contact you to confirm the final arrangement, date and payment. Booking dates shown as available on the calendar reflect our records at the time you view the page; a very close, simultaneous booking by someone else for the same date may occasionally need to be resolved directly with our sevadars. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking.

3. Donations

Donations made through this website (Daswandh, Langar Seva or any other fund) are used for the stated purpose and the Gurudwara's charitable and religious activities. Tax-exemption receipts are issued where the Gurudwara is eligible to do so under applicable law. Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.

4. Volunteering

Submitting a volunteer application is an expression of interest — a Seva Coordinator will contact you about actual opportunities to serve based on your stated skills and availability. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a volunteering arrangement at our discretion, particularly for seva involving vulnerable members of the Sangat (e.g. children or the elderly).

5. Content and conduct

Gurbani, Hukamnama and other devotional content on this site are shared for the spiritual benefit of the Sangat and should be treated with the respect due to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Photographs and videos on this site, including in the Gallery, belong to Gurudwara Gobind Dham or are used with permission and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our consent.

Messages sent through the Connect form or any other form on this site must not contain spam, abusive language, or content unrelated to the Gurudwara. We reserve the right not to respond to such messages.

6. Third-party links and embeds

This site links to and embeds content from third parties (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Maps and Razorpay). We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of these third-party services once you leave our site or interact with their embedded widgets.

7. No warranty

Event dates, timings and other information on this site are shared in good faith and kept as up to date as possible, but may change. We do not guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Gurudwara Gobind Dham and its Sevadar committee are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Indian law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
